Iconic national parks illustrated
Field Notes have always wanted to create and edition celebrating America's National Parks. The work of the artists of The Fifty-Nine Parks Print Series hit the spot and so the collaboration was born: Gorgeous illustrations of the iconic National Parks are featured on the covers of these memo books, which are grouped into the separately sold 3-Packs that make up the National Parks Series.
Series A 3-Pack: Includes Yosemite National Park and Zion National Park, both by Dan McCarthy, and Acadia National Park by Telegramme Paper Co.
Series B 3-Pack: Grand Canyon National Park by DKNG Studios, Joshua Tree Nat’l Park by The Little Friends of Printmaking, Mount Rainier Nat’l Park by Glenn Thomas.
Series C 3-Pack: Rocky Mountain National Park by Rory Kurtz, Great Smoky Mountains National Park by Chris Turnham, Yellowstone National Park by Brave the Woods.
Series D 3-Pack: Grand Teton National Park by by Eric Nyffeler, Arches National Park by Nicolas Delort, Sequoia National Park by Glenn Thomas.
Series E 3-Pack: Denali National Park by Dan McCarthy, Cuyahoga Valley National Park by Kim Smith, Olympic National Park by Daniel Danger.

Laadukkaat kannet ja huippupaperia!
Ostin tämän paketin pääasiassa hienon taiteen vuoksi sen kummemmin tutkimatta ja tällä saralla en kyllä joutunut pettymään. Vihkojen taide jaksaa ilahduttaa ja erilaiset designit tuovat vaihtelua kirjoittamiseen.
Jos jotain miinuksia täytyy keksiä niin nämä vihkot eivät toimi hirveän hyvin useimpien täytekynien ja musteiden kanssa. Suurin osa musteista, joita kokeilin featheraa aika pahasti ja bleedaa läpi seuraavalle sivulle. Jos täytekynillä haluaa näihin rustailla niin Platinum Carbon Black -muste ja hieno (F tai EF) kynän kärki-kombo toimi kuitenkin tällä paperilla aika hyvin.
En näe tätä mitenkään suurena miinuksena, koska mielestäni näiden vihkojen pointti on enemmänkin EDC on-the-go käytössä, jossa kuulakärkikynät ovat muutenkin parempi vaihtoehto. Sekä kuulakärkikynät että lyijärit käyttäytyvät tällä paperilla mainiosti.
Kannet kuluvat näistä myös aika nopeasti jos vihkoa pitää esim. taskussa, mutta tämäkin on mielestäni ihan ok, koska näitä tuotteita ei ole tehty paapottavaksi. Tai paapokoon kukin mitä lystää, mutta itse en aio paapoa.
Kaiken kaikkiaan oikein passeli tuote ja toimitus oli nopea!

The National Park covers are beautiful, and iconic. Just looking at them is a pleasure... writing in them is a delight. It's like having a pocket sized piece of art with you.
