Utilizing a matte-ECOPAK variation, EPLX400 as the main material and Recycled Bag Cloth (RBC) 400 as a lining, Evergoods presents a unique eco-friendly variation to MPL22, built to handle years of rugged use.

Eco-friendly, durable, & stunning: EPX400 is built from 100% recycled components, 400 denier face textile laminated to a waterproof 70d ripstop backing and an added C0 DWR (aka fluorocarbon-free) finish. In short: abrasion, water, and UV resistance in a smooth, matte ECOPAK variation.

Plastic bottles to access pouches: ECOPAK is the world’s only durable and waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film. Each yard upcycles about 20 plastic water bottles into strong technical textiles.

Recycled in & out: The ECOPAK collection's lining is RBC400, or Recycled Bag Cloth in 400 denier weight. RBC400 is made from 100% recycled polyester with a PU coating that's C0 DWR (aka fluorocarbon-free) on the back side for water resistance. This is the same woven material that is on the face of the ECOPAK composite used in the shell.

PU coated YKK zippers: To further weatherproof the ECOPAK collection, EVERGOODS added on premium water-repellent zippers with RC Coil. This unique oval shape is designed for additional exposure protection and from being easily torn.

Ultimate breathability: The signature back panel is a two-layer construction of 3D spacer mesh and abrasion-resistant 50D monofilament woven. In short: it’s durable, doesn't pill, won't abrade clothing, and is wildly breathable.

Gear stashed: For packing gear quickly on the trail, the full panel stash pocket is oversized to hold everything you need at a moments notice, from a windbreaker to gloves to a CAP1. Built from single piece construction with pleats for shape and volume. The lower corners have cutouts for passive escape of moisture and debris.

Dual side-utility stretch pockets: Exterior side pockets built from hard-wearing mountain apparel grade 4-way stretch woven for easy access to gloves, 1 liter water bottles, sunglasses, or CAP1. Holds contents close and expands for larger items.

From town to trail: MPL22 is designed and sized for crossover enthusiasts who want an incredible trail bag that also functions as an every day pack in the city. General purpose features are found across the entire pack, like the internal suspended sleeve works for both hydration bladders and laptops.

My new favourite travel backpack

I've just come back from a weekend trip to Sicily, and found this bag perfect for short travels (with a free carry-on bag). It's light, the Ecopak material gives more structure to the bag, however it still won't stand on its own. The organization works well for me, and the bag doesn't look too big on my smaller frame. The main zipper is a little stiff, will take some time to break in, and the price is steep, so that's why I only gave 4 stars. Otherwise I highly recommend it!
