The product of a years-long collaboration with Chen Chen and Kai Williams, the Sidewinder is an enigmatic kinetic sculpture moonlighting as a knife.
Named for the oscillating tracks left in the sand by its serpentine namesake, motion is at the core of the Sidewinder Knife’s design philosophy. It has an interlocking mechanical hilt, with two opposing elements moving in sympathy with the blade itself to produce a truly unique unsheathing mechanism.
Formed entirely of stonewashed and black PVD-coated stainless steel, the Sidewinder boasts a heft that feels authoritative in the hand, but never unwieldy. It’s perfectly pocketable, but remains equally content to be displayed on a desk, a shelf, or a mantle, proudly soaking in the wonder and admiration its curious form will undoubtedly attract.
